Two new exciting projects
Keep an eye out for two things I'll be working on over the next couple of weeks / months! First I'm doing a tutorial for DigitalTutors.com. Next, I'm entering a contest to make a video promoting the books of a somewhat new author. The idea is a video but he says he will accept animation. In order to win the video has to be in the top ten, then of those 10 the winner will be drawn at random. The prize is a trip to Japan with hotel paid for a week plus $500 spending money. jWords

Morning Stretch sculpture
The Kneeling Woman now has a sister! Available on Shapeways is my new model, Morning Stretch, done in the same style as Kneeling Woman. Even though it's the same style and about the same size the price is actually about $10 cheaper. The face comes from the Rachel model so if you are a fan of hers now you can have a Rachel of your own in a way. Check out the model on Shapeways here: http://shpws.me/u2dd Click to enlarge.

Rachel in Hamarikyu
This is an animation I did that was inspired by Rachel, the Jvlogger who runs the My Husband Is Japanese channel on YouTube. Rachel was kind enough to send me reference photos of herself when I was first starting to sculpt. That sculpting was all done in 3D-Coat, as well as the texture painting and retopology. The animation, hair, final surfaces, and rendering were all done in LightWave
