Working on textures for the P-47D. The fuselage and wings are just about finished. Maybe I'll paint a diffuse map to dirty it up a little. Still have a lot of maps to paint for the other
Learning Max
I've been asked to do an art test for a game studio in 3D Studio Max. Great! Problem is, I didn't know Max. So I've been studying up and I've got a pretty good handle on the modeling and texturing tools. I still think Lightwave is a better program, but hey, ya gotta do what ya gotta
More P-47D Thunderbolt
Here's more. Yes I know the wheels are floating, but that was the only way to show them and have the landing gear up, otherwise they'd be inside the wing. I still haven't touched the cockpit yet, must look for more reference, I have some of the control panel
WIP: Republic P-47D Thunderbolt
I saw a diecast model of one of these laying around the house and decided to model it. Funny thing is I just remembered my stepfather, who passed away several years ago, was shot down over the Pacific by a Japanese plane in WWII. Since this was such a popular plane I'll bet it was one of these that he was flying. The funny part of his story was that he was floating around in the ocean for a week with a weeks worth of rations and of course they were gone in 3

Well, I just spent a week in the hospital. I've been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. There is no cure yet, but it is very treatable now. I will have to give myself injections of a drug called Rebif 3 times a week. In the hospital I was given 12 doses of cortazone via an IV, that's to fix a symptom of me losing some of the sight in my right eye. Apparently in a couple weeks my sight will be back to normal. For the next couple of weeks I'll be taking pills to taper off the cortazone. Luckilly they're in the final stages of testing a ...

Unfortunatly I haven't had access to my computer for the past week or so. I'm still going to try to finish the Wantis before the deadline at the end of this month, but it may not be as pretty as I'd
