More work to be done

I finished up my week at Shooters and was then asked to do something else which I should be starting shortly, the news helicopter for ABC 7 in NY needs to be modeled for their HD commercials. I also may have work coming in with Epic Studios and one other place. In other news March 1st was my birthday and this past weekend I went to Atlantic City with some friends. I didn't win anything, but I had a good time and that's what really

Modeling task

I finished modeling ahead of schedule yesterday, so I textured it as well. Today I was animating all day and started setting up the effects I'll do tomorrow. It's due by Thursday morning, but I think I'll have to done well before

Back to Shooters

Shooters called today and I'll be going back there starting Monday. Sounds like it's just one project, all I heard was "some modeling, possibly more". I'm also just about finished with my art test for Insomniac, it's looking pretty good so

Lightwave 9.2 Preview

The Lightwave 9.2 Preview with my image has been posted to NewTek's site. Some of the new features are really awesome and blow the 9.0 update out of the water.http://www.newtek.com/lightwave/newsletters/v4-n01/index.html#v92The art test for Sucker Punch didn't work out, but what they did say was"Your work is clean and done very well.Of the candidates that applied you were in the top ten."and"As the team continues to hire in the future, I will keep you in mind,as I keep the better portfolios

sucker Punch and Insomniac

Today I finished up the art test for Sucker Punch and just as I was packing it up to send it off I got an email from Insomniac Games asking me to do an art test. Sucker Punch's test wasn't too hard and was fun. My poly count was lower than the max limit they set and they said that was okay. Insomniac's test is very different, but it doesn't look like it should be too hard

NewTek Newsletter

Nice, my CG Sphere was created with some of the new features in Lightwave 9.2. NewTek asked if they could use it for promotions. Of course I said yes. Today the latest Newsletter came out with a LW 9.2 preview and my sphere was one of the three images shown as examples. They requested a higher res version than the one on the CG Sphere site for print, so who knows where else it might show

CG Sphere

After finishing my work with Pixelpushers I had an idea for a quick project for cgsphere.com. It was just something quick and fun to do and got pretty high ratings so far for what it is. You can see it here:http://www.cgsphere.com/gallery/details/?submission_id=2243Sucker Punch Productions has asked me to do an art test. They haven't sent it over yet, so I'm not sure what it's all about, but I'm sure it will be no problem. The commercial I worked on over Thanksgiving weekend is currently airing on TV. I saw it twice last

New gig
