WIP: Republic P-47D Thunderbolt
I saw a diecast model of one of these laying around the house and decided to model it. Funny thing is I just remembered my stepfather, who passed away several years ago, was shot down over the Pacific by a Japanese plane in WWII. Since this was such a popular plane I’ll bet it was one of these that he was flying. The funny part of his story was that he was floating around in the ocean for a week with a weeks worth of rations and of course they were gone in 3 days.
