Maison Ikkoku

For about 10 years now I’ve been a big fan of the manga series Maison Ikkoku and ever since I got into 3D I’ve wanted to model the house that the series mainly takes place in. Just recently a live action TV special was made in Japan, based on the first few books of the series. It was great to watch but while watching it hit me that it is great reference material because they so accurately reproduced the house in the manga. So yesterday I started small and began modeling the managers room where several scenes take place.
